Terminology:
What does CAL stand for?
Client Access License. These grant the right for
a computer to have access to the server, which is different than an operating
system or workstation license which grants you the right to have an operating
system running on your system.
What does DSP stand for?
Delivery Service Partner. Typically these
products cost a little more than standard OEM. How can you
sell this software as OEM? There is no
catch - the software versions that we sell are OEM (Original Equipment
Manufacturer) which means you will receive the installation CDs only (they do
not come in their original retail packing and do not include the manual). We
do guarantee that all programs are the 100% full working retail versions - no
demos or academic versions! When you order, you will receive all materials
required for a complete installation. Why pay hundreds of dollars more when
you can get exactly the same but OEM-CD? You don't have to pay that much for
the fancy box and manuals.
What does OEM mean?
Original Equipment Manufacturer. Some software
and hardware manufacturers and/or copyright holders require that hardware
(sometimes specific hardware) be purchased with their OEM products. Oem Software
Shack does not have affiliations or agreements with any of these manufacturers
or copyright holders. Oem Software Shack currently sells a
number of software products but only a limited amount of hardware or peripheral
items. The End User License Agreement is a contract between the user of the
software or hardware item and the manufacturer or copyright holder of the
software or hardware product. By purchasing OEM software or hardware from Oem
Software Shack You are providing Oem Software Shack with
Your assurance that You are acquiring the qualifying hardware or items (from Us
or some other vendor) required by the manufacturer of the software or hardware
or copyright holder. OEM products do not receive manufacturer telephone support
and may have limited or no technical support at all. Oem Software Shack provides
limited technical support for OEM products on a fee basis. By purchasing OEM
items from Oem Software Shack You have agreed to comply with all of the terms of
the End User License Agreement and have purchased or intend to purchase the
qualifying hardware or items required. With Your purchase of OEM software and
hardware products from Oem Software Shack You hold Oem Software Shack harmless
for any damages or violations of the Agreement between the End User (you) and
